It’s October!! Who else is ready for a little fall? How cute is this jumper? I’m calling it Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice!
I made this jumper for my 18 inch doll from the very popular summertime pattern, the Boardwalk Boutique. Yep! It’s this one pictured below, and chances are, you may already have it in your collection. It was one of the first Oh Sew Kat! patterns I published. Find it in 4 different doll sizes HERE. I didn’t make any changes to the pattern. I cut the longer top cutting line, and added the ruffle as usual. The jumper will be a little short if you tie the ties too tightly. I just pulled it down a bit and put it on over a few different shirts.
The black checked blouse, and the white top below, were both made using the Playtime Peasant Top and Twirl Skirt pattern. You can read more about it HERE. It’s available sized for 5 different dolls in my Etsy Shop.
For the pumpkin face, I used black, glitter heat transfer vinyl (HTV, like this AD:https://amzn.to/2DHrOGx). I cut only the face from a design in the AD: Cricut Library; it was part of my access subscription. A quick press and this adorable jumper was done!
And here, it looks so cute with the Jumping Jack turtleneck shirt! When I was working on the Jumping Jack pattern, I made turtlenecks in red, black, and white. Now I’ve got the basics on hand for many different looks. These same shirts are perfect with the Easy Up Jumper like in this post.
This Boardwalk Boutique jumper takes such a little amount of fabric (fat quarter friendly for sure!) . With easy ties and no closures, it’s perfect to create adorable stock for your fall craft fairs or for that gaggle of special granddaughters you like to surprise with handmade doll clothes.
