You already love the Bloomer Buddies pattern! You’ve made such cute summer dresses and Easter shortie outfits and then you probably put the pattern away until next spring. But did you realize you can use this pattern all year long? When you first look at the Bloomer Buddies pattern, you fall in love with the sweet bloomers and sundresses and the mix and match options. Look at these adorable summer sundresses for dolls! They stitch up quickly and easily with or without sleeves. Check out THIS POST and THIS ONE to make a nightgown with this pattern too!
Add enough length to the capri length bloomers to reach your doll’s feet. You can also use another pants pattern like the Boardwalk Boutique as well. Add to the sleeves to make them long for winter warmth. For Blaire’s black and white gingham jammies, I added an extra 1/4th inch to the long sleeve from THIS POST so I could put in some cute wrist elastic to give it a cute ruffle.

18 inch doll pajamas made with Oh Sew Kat! PDF patterns
I found these cute, doll scale plaid flannel fat quarter packs at Walmart. I like to cut the plaid or checked yoke on the bias (diagonal) to give the interest and contrast. I used my piping foot to attach baby sized piping as I attached the yoke. The splash of color is a perfect accent. For Luciana’s pjs I also lengthened the sleeves to 3/4 length, left the wrist elastic off, and added a few inches to the capri length bloomers to make jammie pants. (You need to taper the ankles a bit!) Luciana is ready for a slumber party in her Bloomer Buddies pj’s!
