These adorable outfits were made as a special order for a good friend to give as a gift. She gave me a price range, and let me decide what I would make. I love to sew that way! I don’t know the child, so I thought a few pieces that mixed and matched together in different ways might be a good place to start. These cute fabrics are from the AD: Fat Quarter Shop. Search for zoology minis.

My favorite pattern for all dolls, but especially for the Wellie Wishers, is the Party Time Peasant Dress. This dress lets me use three different, cute fabrics at once and is now available in 5 doll sizes!
Between these four pieces, the lucky, little girl can make 6 different outfits! Because I used fat quarters, I still have enough of each color that I could make another set. Inexpensive fat quarter bundles from Walmart and other craft stores like Hobby Lobby are great for these kinds of projects! You can make all of these pieces for under $10! Read more how I do this in THIS POST.

Willa’s outfit looks like a dress, but it’s actually a skirt and top. The Popsicle Top reverses to the pink striped fabric. I used the print fabric as the Four Season Skirt waistband.

Ready for some Springtime Fun? Today you choose the look! Who wore it best? Kelly or Harper? This easy, breezy outfit is perfect for the early days of spring! The pretty dress pairs up with some longer bloomers to add a little warmth and cartwheel protection. This tunic length top and knee length bloomers were made using the BLOOMER BUDDIES sewing pattern which is also available for 16″ Animators and 14.5 inch Wellie Wishers dolls. Find the pattern here.
Kelly: (Truly Me #63)
Harper: (Truly Me #25)
Harper rocked the sunglasses. Kelly wanted to try it as a dress, but it was too short. (This is the tunic length- the dress length option is perfect). We had to quickly add a blue hem band to make it work.
So what do you think? Who rocked the Bloomer Buddies better? Harper in her shades, or Kelly in her cute dress?
