It’s March!! And that means basketball!! Get your dolls into their school spirit with easy to sew patterns from Oh Sew Kat! and some cute college cotton fabrics. (Check your local Walmart, Joanns, or CollegeFabric.com).
Our family lines up in two main conferences- first the Big East!! (Villanova for Mom, Marquette for son, sister, and grandfather)
If you watch the games, you’ll see lots of the kids wearing spirit bibs. I made mine with logo fabric, but the school color stripes are super fun too! Both skirt and pants options are included in the Backyard Bibs pattern.
Molly and Grace are ready to root for the Marquette Golden Eagles. Mary’s skirt pattern is FREE from OhSewKat- find it HERE. It’s called the Four Season Skirt. Her top is made with the Popsicle Top pattern which is available in lots of popular doll sizes HERE.
We also support our ACC favorites, Va Tech (son) and NC State (daughter). Cal will soon join them in that mix- that’s Dad’s school. Lanie’s outfit (above) is the Four Season Skirt and a Popsicle Top.
Our daughter will graduate from NC State this spring- so we’ve donned the red and black for the Wolfpack!! Make an easy game day shift with the simple to sew, Sunshine Dress, and this post to make it without sleeves.
Blaire’s dress was made using the Sunshine Dress without sleeves. Quick and simple!!! Our last team, for now, is the Virginia Tech Hokies. We love the maroon and gold- and celebrate our 2020 grad with our support for the Hokies!! Try the Four Season Skirt pattern for FREE and make a game day skirt for your favorite team.
Find the Free Four Season Skirt for dolls HERE. Pair it with a cute Popsicle Top for the perfect Game Day outfit.
Kailey’s cute, Cal spirit top is made with the Bloomer Buddies pattern. This patchwork pattern does most of the work providing interest and movement. Next year, the Cal Bears will join the Atlantic Coast Conference, which means my bear (husband) will get to see his team play a lot more often- and play our kids’ teams too. Should be a fun year!!!
